Montoya’s “The Colors of Life”
Painting Exhibit at San Pedro Hospital

In line with 60th Diamond Jubilee Celebration
of San Pedro Hospital of Davao City, Inc., Manuel “Boy” Montoya, a multi-awarded Dabawenyo Painter, displays his colorful and vibrant works in a solo exhibit entitled “The Colors of Life” at the San Pedro Hospital, 2nd Floor at St. Mary’s Ward from September 26 to October 05, 2008.
Montoya is one of
the only two Dabawenyo artists featured in the Biographies of a thousand outstanding Filipino Artists and the Philippine Harvest. His art works, considered to use lines similar to Amarsolo’s style of painting, vividly depicts the day to day life
of the active and hardworking people in Davao amidst bountiful harvest of fruits and flowers. The exhibit will also feature Montoya’s expertise in managing acrylic in subdued and elegant colors for his mother and child paintings.

Proceeds of the exhibit will benefit the charity
in patients of San Pedro Hospital under the Sister Pauline Guilmette Memorial Fund.
